I have started working with a global organization that helps scientists make sense of complex data and push the boundaries of discovery. Their tools are used by researchers working on everything from new medicines to sustainable materials, and they’re proud to play a quiet but vital role in how science moves forward!

Java Engineers here build the platforms that make this possible. Whether it’s designing fast, reliable search systems for chemical data, improving the accuracy of machine learning models, or creating clean, intuitive interfaces for researchers, the work is deeply technical and genuinely meaningful. You won’t be building throwaway features, you’ll be solving real problems that help real people.

It’s currently an international team of 10 engineers, whilst the main aim is to grow out the Oxford function with experienced Senior / Lead Java engineers, currently.

Tech stack includes: Java, Springboot, Microservices, Python, AWS, CI/CD, AWS, REST apis, TDD, Kafka and agile.

Salary in the range of £100k - £120k, based in Oxford (hybrid), 8% pension, health and dental insurance, 25 days holiday and two stage interview process.
