Solicitor (Litigation or Contract Specialist)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor to join our client's well-established team in Lincoln.

Purpose of the Solicitor role:

Working within the legal team, the main purpose of this role is to provide key advice in relation to day-to-day project challenges and commercial contract documentation to the key stakeholders.

Solicitor duties Responsibilities:

· Providing advice on compliance and project matters

· Provide support to the head of legal and external advisors in relation to pre-action matters

· Provide high-level/detailed reviews of tender documentation to highlight various legal risks and opportunities

· Reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a variety of contracts (with values ranging from £250,000 to £(phone number removed)

· Provide advice on key documentation including contracts, schedules of amendments, collateral warranties, and consultant/professional appointments

· Assisting with contentious matters, debt recovery, and adjudications where necessary

The Perfect Solicitor Will Have the Following Requirements:

· Able to work autonomously as required, and have the ability to deliver at pace and prioritise workload according to the demands of the business

· Be a qualified Solicitor or FCILEx Lawyer

· Knowledge of construction frameworks

· Experience of managing people

· Able to analyse and advise upon risk to influence and guide the group
