Our client are a leading Waste Management firm that have UK and European wide coverage. Due to expansion they are actively looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to join their team. You will be working within a small team of HGV technicians. You'll work on a modern and diverse fleet of RORO, Artic & Rigid HGV's and Trailers.

HGV Mechanic Job Overview

Carry out both scheduled, servicing, inspections, Pre-MOT inspections and unscheduled repairs to a high standard
MOT Presentation
Fault diagnosis
Welding and fabricating
Attend internal and external training
Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate mannerHGV Mechanic Job Requirements

Relevant engineering qualification (preferably within the motor transport sector).
Ability to diagnose and rectify faults
Basic hydraulic knowledge
Good health and safety awareness
Must be able to work under their own initiative with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the customer (internal)HGV Mechanic Job Package & Benefits

Salary £46,000 - £50,000
Overtime rates 1.5 times over standard hours and 2x on Sundays and Bank Holidays
Monday - Friday Core Hours
