Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00-16:00, Friday: 08:00-13:30

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected precision engineering manufacturer for a CNC Programmer / Project Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced machinist to step into a permanent role with strong progression potential. The position will focus on both online and offline CNC programming, working across a range of complex projects and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and operate a Weiler CNC Lathe (Siemens controls)
Program and operate a Hurco CNC Mill
Proficiency in Programming Offline with WinMax software
Set, operate, and machine high-precision components
Work independently and collaboratively within a busy workshop
Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work meets tight tolerances
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project workRequirements:

Strong CNC machining and programming experience (online & offline)
Proficiency in Siemens controls and WinMax offline programming
Experience with lathes, milling machines, and general machining equipment
Engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
Able to work from own initiative with strong attention to detail
