NMC – RGN, RN, RNLD, RMN (Adult-Registered Only)
HCPC – Registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, or Pharmacists

Unfortunately, we cannot offer visa sponsorship or accept unregistered applicants Advance Your Clinical Practice – Move Into a Structured, Specialist Assessment Role Are you an experienced adult healthcare clinician seeking a role where you can apply your diagnostic reasoning, functional evaluation skills, and clinical judgement—without shift pressures, caseload management, or treatment targets?
This role focuses on functional clinical evaluation, supporting individuals with a broad range of chronic, neurological, psychiatric, sensory, and musculoskeletal conditions. Working within a biopsychosocial assessment framework, you’ll evaluate how these conditions impact activities of daily living and capacity.
You’ll be part of a respected multidisciplinary team contributing directly to public health decisions and enabling fair, evidence-based support for those with long-term health challenges.
What You’ll Be Doing – Clinical Summary of Role As a Clinical Functional Assessment Specialist, you will:
Conduct structured, evidence-informed consultations (via telephone, video, and face-to-face)
Evaluate the functional impact of diverse medical conditions on daily living and occupational capacity
Review and interpret clinical evidence including diagnostics, treatment pathways, and long-term management
Deliver comprehensive clinical reports to a high professional standard – clear, logical, and defensible
Uphold the highest standards of clinical integrity, patient-centred care, and data confidentiality This is not a treatment, triage, or administrative role – it is a specialist medical assessment position based on direct interaction, applied knowledge, and critical reasoning.
Clinical Skills & Professional Requirements To succeed in this role, you must have:
Minimum of 12 months’ active registration with the NMC or HCPC (Adult-Registered)
At least 1 full, recent year of hands-on clinical practice in adult healthcare (e.g. medical/surgical wards, neuro, community, mental health, rehab, A&E)
Strong abilities in functional assessments, clinical evaluation, and history-taking
High standard of written clinical documentation – able to produce structured, evidence-based reports
Confident use of digital tools and medical record systems – IT literacy is essential Why Make the Move?

£39,500 – £41,500
