We are proud to be working with a well-established FMCG manufacturer based in Cornwall, renowned for their high-quality products and continuous commitment to innovation. As part of a significant period of growth and investment, the business is now looking to strengthen its Engineering department.

We're seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit, high-performing team. This opportunity has come about due to a pipeline of new capital projects, ongoing technological upgrades, and a strategic push to enhance site reliability and reduce downtime.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking to be part of a forward-thinking company investing heavily in the future of production technology.

Responsibilities

* Working with the team to ensure reliability and productivity of equipment.

* Ensuring preventative maintenance of the production machinery is carried out.

* Inspecting tools and equipment to ensure safety.

* Proactively diagnosing faults and anticipating any failures in order to reduce downtime.

* Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken.

* Ordering parts and liaison with contractors.

* Identify common failure modes and areas for Reliability and Efficiency Improvement within Engineering and Production.

What are we looking for?

* Proven experience in a maintenance role, with a preference in electrical bias

* Proven experience within the FMCG/Manufacturing industries

* Eagerness to develop and progress
