Part-time Permanent Role

£26000 - £27000 P/A - Part time Hours - 27-30hrs per week 

ARC are recruiting on behalf of their client, a well-established company with a strong reputation within the construction sector, for a part-time Accounts assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience who is looking for a stable, part-time role across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

Key Responsibilities:

Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions

Managing purchase ledger and reconciling supplier accounts

Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations

Handling petty cash and staff expenses

Managing finance queries

Processing weekly and monthly payroll

Supporting quarterly VAT submissions

Updating employee records and maintaining accurate financial documentation

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in accounts payable and payroll

Experience with SAGE would be highly beneficial

AAT Level 2 qualification preferred but not essential — equivalent experience will also be considered

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
