Electrical Design Engineer

? Remuneration: Salary £37.5k - £40k PA DOE + Package

? Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (+ Overtime @ standard rate)

Our client:

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer & supplier of variable speed drives, motors and Support Services. They also have an extensive range of temporary hire equipment including power, distribution, welfare facilities and offer a full turnkey solution. They are looking for a dynamic and driven Electrical Design Engineer to join the growing business:

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Design & specify electrical schematics

* Produce layouts and wiring diagrams

* Design & specify LV assemblies – MCCs, switchboards & control panels

* Conduct power cable & cable schedule calcs

* Ensure design accuracy & accuracy to electrical standards

* Produce & review detailed docs including single line diagrams & technical specifications

* Participate in testing & troubleshoot design issues

Person Specification:

* Minimum HNC/HND Electrical Engineering or similar

* Electrical CAD experience – AutoCAD Electrical or similar

* Experienced in designing MCC control panels and LV switchboards etc

* Industrial automation and PLC understanding would be advantageous

* Flexible to support as an Electrical Engineer across the project lifecycle
