Geotechnical Engineer

£40k-£45k plus benefits

One of our major clients is expanding their geotechnical team in London. They are seeking a project geotechnical engineer who has extensive experience and is able to lead a team, implementing innovative solutions within industry standards.

The Role:

Producing geotechnical modelling for building structures, including basements,
Provide geotechnical support to the structural engineering team
Proficiency in PLAXIS 3D
Advise on foundations, with a focus on using sustainable materials
Demonstrate previous experience in soil-structure interaction, geotechnical design and interpretation, including ground model determination

Obviously the are many more responsibilities, including fee structures, cost management and billing, which will be something you have experience in.

You will need a degree in geology or civil engineering, with demonstrable UK experience. You should be working towards Chartership with either ICE or Geological Society.
