Geography Teacher - PRU | Full-Time | Long-Term | Start Date: Immediate

Are you an experienced Geography Teacher with the skills and resilience to support young people in an alternative provision setting?

Academics is currently working with a well-regarded Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) based in Birmingham who are looking to appoint a full-time Geography Teacher immediately on a long-term basis.

This is a challenging but highly rewarding role, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about working with students who need a different approach to learning and behaviour support.

The Role:

Position: Teacher (flexibility across History, Geography, RE)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Location: Birmingham
Setting: PRU - supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviourWhat We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) and experience delivering Humanities subjects
Strong behaviour management and experience working with pupils with social, emotional or mental health needs (SEMH)
A calm, consistent and empathetic teaching approach
Confidence in handling challenging behaviour and adapting teaching strategies to suit individual needsWhat the PRU Offers:
