Salary Scale: £84 to £95 per day

GSL Education is excited to be working with a welcoming primary school in West Hull, and we’re on the lookout for enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join the team. Your role will be essential in helping children grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and enjoy their learning journey. We understand that every educator has their strengths, so we offer flexibility around which year group you’d prefer to work with – whether you shine in EYFS or love supporting KS2, we’ll find the right fit for you.
Our roles start in September, but if you’re available sooner, we’d love to welcome you into the classroom earlier and get you settled into your new role. Level 2 Teaching Assistant Role:
Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs designed to meet the diverse needs of SEND students.
Support students in class, in small groups, or on a one-to-one basis, facilitating their access to the curriculum and enhancing their learning experience.
Work closely with teachers and SEND coordinators to implement effective strategies and support plans for students.
Monitor and report on students' progress, contributing to the development of interventions that foster academic and personal growth.
The successful candidate will:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience working with SEND students, demonstrating a patient, understanding, and supportive approach.
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to professional growth and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
