? Your Role
As an Art Teacher at our grammar school, you will:

Teach engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a focus on A Level Art and Design
*
Develop students' creative abilities and technical skills, preparing them for further education and careers in the arts
*
Inspire students to think critically, experiment with different media, and express their ideas through art
*
Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced department to plan and deliver a dynamic and academically rigorous curriculum
*
Provide clear assessment and feedback, supporting students in their progress towards achieving their potential at A Level
*
Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and other creative school events
*
Cultivate a stimulating and supportive classroom environment where students feel challenged and inspired
✅ What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Art Teacher who:
*
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has proven experience teaching Art at secondary level, including A Level
*
Has a degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design, with a strong portfolio and a thorough understanding of advanced visual arts practice
*
Is passionate about teaching the arts at a high academic level and able to engage students in deep, meaningful learning
*
Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
*
Has a strong understanding of the A Level Art curriculum and is experienced in preparing students for university and creative careers
*
Is eager to contribute to a thriving school community and collaborate with colleagues to ensure student success
