Civil Engineer
If you're a Civil Engineer who enjoys seeing schemes through from early concept to delivery on site, this is a chance to take on varied, technical work with the backing of an established South West civil/structural consultancy team delivering bespoke, pragmatic infrastructure solutions across domestic and commercial developments.
As a Civil Engineer, you'll get a genuinely mixed workload (not the same scheme on repeat), flexibility in how you work, and the opportunity to grow your responsibility as your capability develops. You'll be trusted to contribute, supported by experienced engineers and technicians, and encouraged to keep progressing.
You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary civil and structural engineering consultancy in the South West that focuses on providing tailored engineering design solutions and advice across domestic and commercial sectors.
In this Civil Engineer position, you will be:
·Producing infrastructure and drainage designs from concept through to detailed design and technical approvals
·Working on education, residential and commercial schemes, supporting projects throughout the full lifecycle (including construction-stage input/monitoring as needed)
·Designing surface water and foul drainage solutions, including SuDS-led approaches where appropriate
·Supporting adoptable design packages (e.g., S38/S104-style workflows) where projects require them
·Writing and contributing to clear technical reports and coordinating with colleagues and stakeholders to keep projects moving
 
To be successful as a Civil Engineer, you will have:
·A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
·Experience in civil engineering, specifically infrastructure and drainage design
·Strong written skills, with the ability to understand and produce technical reports
·Confident communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues and project stakeholders
