East Midlands (South)
£70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits
*POTENTIAL RELOCATION SUPPORT*
This isn’t for someone who wants to “maintain the status quo”. If you're looking for a comfy middle-management gig where you shuffle reports and nod in meetings, stop reading now.
Still here? Good.
This is for someone who actually enjoys fixing things. Someone who sees a broken process, a disengaged team, a tired culture—and gets genuinely excited about sorting it out.
You’ll be stepping into a business that's got big plans. The sort of place that says it wants to be “best in class”—but actually means it. Problem is, there’s still a fair bit of work to do to get there.
That’s where you come in.
You’ll be leading a team in a production environment that wants to change. There’s buy-in. The appetite’s there. They just need someone with the vision—and the teeth—to drive it.
You’ll be using Lean tools to make processes tighter, teams smarter, and output better. You’ll bring structure to the chaos. And yes, you’ll be managing people—but not just to hit KPIs. You’ll be coaching them to care about hitting them.
There’s plenty of opportunity here to do proper leadership. Not just holding people accountable, but getting them bought into the whole journey.
What you’ll need:
• Ops leadership experience in FMCG or food manufacturing
• Ideally, a brewing qualification (think IBD Diploma or similar – or show us you know your way around a brewery)
• You know your Lean from your Six Sigma, and you’ve actually used it to get results
• You can handle budgets, and complex employee relations don’t phase you (yes, it’s unionised)
• You’re someone who takes ownership. No excuses, no waffle.
The business is well backed, growing, and genuinely investing in the people who are driving the change. That could be you.
