White Label is hiring for an engineering and manufacturing company based in Stockport that require a Product Design Engineer to join their team.

You’ll take proven designs and turn them into tailored solutions, special variants, and brand-new innovations — all driven by customer specs. Using Design for Manufacture principles, you’ll produce clear, production-ready drawings that bring ideas to life.

My client can consider fresh graduates to experienced Product Design Engineers for this position.

A package in the region of £26,000 - £40,000 is on offer depending on experience.

* 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities of the Product Design Engineer

* Create and maintain accurate, detailed design data to support the manufacture of standard, variant, and new products.

* Ensure designs comply with relevant design standards.

* Develop effective design solutions through creative problem solving and cross-team collaboration.

* Support and maintain the company’s design data and workflow systems in line with ISO 9001 requirements.

* Lead or contribute to projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are accurate.

* Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and address post-launch issues.

* Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and customers, taking direction and feedback as needed.

Experience required of the Product Design Engineer

* Degree and similar academic qualification in design or engineering

* 3D Modelling Experience essential, Autodesk Inventor is preferred

* 3D modelling of sheet metal components is beneficial
