A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated, flexible and reliable full time Vessel Master (Relief) at PD Ports within the Marine Department.

Location: Marine Department, Vulcan Street, Middlesbrough, TS2 1LX

Working Arrangements: week on / week off

Salary Range: £48,857.00

The five main things our Vessel Master (Relief) will be working on are:

* Operation and navigation of the vessel in accordance with maritime laws and company procedures.

* Managing the vessels’ ISM Compliance.

* Supervision and training of crew.

* Responding to emergencies and implementing safety drills and procedures.

* Coordinating with Port authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders.

We are seeking someone who:

* Has proven command experience.

* Dredging experience would be desirable.

* Holds a valid ENG 1 Medical certification.

* Minimum STCW Master CoC <3000 GT.

* Possess crew training / ISM experience.

This is not a live aboard position
