Temporary Business Support / Operations Administrator

Our client is looking for a confident and proactive Operations Administrator to join their team on a temporary but ongoing basis.

? About the Role
You'll work closely with the owner and leadership team, taking ownership of a range of operational and administrative areas to relieve pressure, drive efficiencies, and support sustainable growth.
Key areas of responsibility include:
? Finance & Reporting (Xero)
Finalising payslips and annual leave
Reconciling bank statement feeds
Cashflow and profit margin reporting
Flagging unusual activity and opportunities for efficiencies? Pensions (Nest)
Filing pension contributions on paydays? Sales & Performance (EPOS NOW)
Monthly sales reporting: performance vs. targets, growth opportunities, under-utilisation
Identifying trends to support business decisions? Operational Insights (G Suite)
Using existing Google tools to analyse retention, rebooking, and referral rates
Understanding capacity and forecasting future staffing or space needs? Utilities & Procurement
Reviewing supplier agreements and identifying opportunities to renegotiate or switch
Building a clear procurement model to forecast future needs? Adhoc Projects
Supporting research into new equipment or services
Assisting with one-off projects such as product photoshoots
Continuously looking for ways to evolve and improve operations

We're looking for someone who is:
Proactive, resourceful and able to work with limited structure
Confident working directly with leadership and taking ownership of tasks
Experienced in start-up or small business environments
Highly organised, analytical, and comfortable with numbers and reporting
Able to start immediately and open to an ongoing temporary roleBonus if you have experience with:
Xero
Nest pensions
EPOS NOW
G Suite / Google Workspace
