HGV Technician – Night Shift

Pay: £21.83 - £24.83 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 22:00 – 07:30 (45-hour week, 30-minute unpaid break)
Contract: Permanent

Earning Potential (OTE)

Basic Salary: £42,569 - £48,419 per year

Realistic OTE: £48,500 - £58,000+

Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate of 1.4x your base hourly rate.

Overview
We're looking for 2 experienced HGV Technicians to join a busy, modern workshop. You'll benefit from strong hourly rates, steady weekday shifts, and the chance to significantly boost your earnings with enhanced overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs.

Diagnose and complete accurate repairs to DVSA standards.

Prepare and present vehicles for MOT.

Complete records and job cards to company standards.

Maintain safe and efficient workshop practices.

What You'll Need

Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).

Proven workshop experience on HGVs.

Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently.

Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).

£42,569 - £48,419 basic annual salary.

Monday to Friday schedule – no weekends or compulsory Saturdays.
