We are working with an established System Integrator company based in Nottingham, UK.

They are recruiting for an Electrical Installation Team Manager to join their team.

In return for a salary up to £65.000 along with excellent employment benefits.

Our Client are a leading provider of automation solutions within the warehousing and logistics industry, specializing in the design, integration, and installation of control systems for complex logistics operations.

As part of ongoing expansion, they are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical Installation Team Manager to join their dynamic team in Nottingham.

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead and oversee a team of electricians and installation technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising electrical installation projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Lead and manage a team of electrical installation professionals on a range of commercial, industrial, and/or residential projects.

* Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and integration.

* Review and interpret electrical schematics, and specifications to plan installations effectively.

* Allocate resources, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and targets.

* Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with electrical codes, health and safety regulations, and company standards.

* Provide support and technical guidance to team members when necessary.

* Manage performance, provide coaching and training, and conduct regular evaluations of team members.

* Monitor materials and equipment requirements; coordinate procurement to avoid project delays.

* Ensure accurate documentation of work progress, changes, and incidents.

* Recruitment of permanent and temporary staff to reflect team workload.

* Report regularly to senior management on project status, team performance, and potential issues.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in electrical installation and team leadership, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role.

* Valid electrician’s license or certification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations).

* Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., BS 7671).

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.

* Proficient in using project management tools and basic IT systems.

* Full UK driving license (or relevant to location).

Desirable Qualifications:

* Health & Safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS, SSSTS).

* Experience working with control systems and PLCs

* Knowledge of project budgeting and cost control.
