Teaching Personnel – the market leader in education recruitment and a trusted partner of the Archdiocese of Liverpool and the Diocese of Shrewsbury – are recruiting Teaching Assistants across Warrington for roles starting immediately and throughout the academic year.
We work with a wide range of primary and secondary schools across areas including Great Sankey, Padgate, Woolston, Orford, Latchford, Culcheth, Penketh, Bewsey, Stockton Heath and the wider Warrington area. Schools are looking for enthusiastic TAs to support teaching, small group learning and pupil engagement.
About the Roles

Full-time Teaching Assistant roles
Part-time opportunities
Flexible, day-to-day supply work
Long-term placements with potential for permanent contracts
These roles are open to general classroom Teaching Assistants, but schools are particularly keen on candidates who can support young people with additional needs. SEN Teaching Assistant experience is desirable, but not essential.
You may be suitable if you have:
Experience supporting children or young people in school OR
Hands-on experience supporting individuals with SEN needs in care, youth work, residential settings, community support, or similar environments
If you’re new to working in schools, Teaching Personnel can provide full training, including:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
THRIVE training – Specialist SEN and Behaviour Management Training
Extensive CPD through our online training academy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
