What you’ll be doing

You’ll be installing, maintaining, and repairing Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems across various sites. That means making sure everything’s running smoothly, diagnosing and fixing faults, and keeping systems compliant with safety regulations. You’ll also be testing sound clarity, ensuring seamless integration with fire alarm systems, and keeping clients happy with reliable, well-maintained setups.

What you’ll need

At least three years of experience working with PAVA systems, PA systems, or similar sound-based setups.

A strong grasp of electrical systems, audio equipment, and relevant software.

Certifications like City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent in electrical or sound engineering.

A methodical approach to diagnosing and fixing issues quickly.

An understanding of fire safety regulations and system compliance.
