Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Stoke-on-Trent? ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and qualified Secondary Science Teachers to join supportive schools in the area from September 2025.

About the role

Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, we have long-term roles available across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for progression and permanent opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare and assess student work to support progress and attainment
Collaborate with departmental staff to share best practice
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of students

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher- September Start you will:

A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
Proven experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Science
Strong classroom management and a commitment to student progress
Ability to adapt to different school settings and contribute positively to the school community

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
