We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established B2B services company based in Greater Manchester, for an experienced Interim Financial Controller. This dynamic organisation, is seeking a professional who can effectively oversee their month-end closing processes and manage their accounts efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial control, preferably within a Business Services environment, demonstrating both leadership and excellent financial acumen. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the company’s financial management during a crucial interim period.

Oversee the month-end closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements

Manage and support a small team, providing guidance and support where necessary

Review and improve existing financial controls and procedures

Prepare and present management reports, providing insights into financial performance

Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with statutory requirements

Assist with cash flow management and budgeting activities

Support senior management with strategic financial planning and analysis

ACA/ACCA/ACMA Qualified Accountant

Proven experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within Business Services

Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting standards

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
