Family Paralegal

Salary: £27,000
Job Type: Full-time, or Part Time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a paralegal with a genuine interest in family law to join a well-established team. You'll work alongside experienced solicitors and fee earners on a varied and sensitive caseload, supporting clients through some of the most important and challenging times in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting solicitors with a range of family law matters including divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, and domestic abuse cases
Drafting legal documents, court forms, and correspondence
Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries
Managing and maintaining case files and ensuring all information is kept up to date
Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner
Attending client meetings and taking detailed notes
Supporting the preparation of bundles for court hearingsIdeal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a paralegal role, ideally within family law
A strong academic background, with a law degree or equivalent legal qualification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of empathy and emotional intelligence when working with vulnerable clients
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload
