Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Nursery Cook to join a Nursery based in Rothwell, Leeds on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract with the view to go permanent.

Key Duties

*

Prepare and cook healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks in line with seasonal menus

*

Cater for specific dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences

*

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment at all times

*

Manage food stock levels, ordering and rotating supplies as needed

*

Adhere to food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen regulations

*

Complete relevant records including food temperatures and cleaning schedules

*

Support a positive mealtime atmosphere, promoting good nutrition and food habits

What We’re Looking For

*

Experience in preparing meals in a childcare, school, or similar setting

*

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

*

Understanding of child nutrition, allergens, and kitchen safety

*

A caring attitude and a passion for feeding little ones well
