Adaptations Contracts Quantity Surveyor – Immediate Start

Overview

We are looking for a Contracts Quantity Surveyor (QS) with experience in housing adaptations. This role involves managing projects where Occupational Therapists complete assessments for clients, including:

Walk-in showers and wet rooms

*

Stairlifts and accessibility solutions

*

Full home extensions and adaptations

The role may also suit candidates with fit-out experience, provided they are motivated to deliver projects end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

*

Manage contract administration and cost control for adaptation projects.

*

Prepare estimates, valuations, and progress payments.

*

Liaise with Occupational Therapists, clients, contractors, and housing associations.

*

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

*

Provide practical solutions for clients’ accessibility requirements.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a QS in housing adaptations, fit-out, or related construction projects.

*

Strong understanding of contract management, cost control, and procurement.

*

Comfortable working with Occupational Therapists and end users.

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

*

Highly motivated, hands-on, and proactive approach.

Salary & Benefits

*

Salary: £50,000–£55,000 per year

*

Car allowance: £5,000 per year
