MFL Teacher – French & Spanish

Location: Calderdale, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Full time, ongoing contract

We are currently working with a school in the Calderdale area who are looking to recruit a MFL Teacher for a full time role, starting in September. The role will involve delivering lessons in French and Spanish to KS3 aged students.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated French and Spanish lessons for KS3 students

* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and progress

* Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs

* Assess and mark student work, providing constructive feedback to aid development

* Work collaboratively with school staff and contribute to pastoral care and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, SCITT, etc.)

* Degree in French / Spanish or completion of a Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) course

* Recent teaching experience in UK secondary schools

* Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Completed Level 1 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete online)

* Legal right to work in the UK
