Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you have a drive for supporting those with SEN? Tradewind Recruitment are looking for dedicated and nurturing 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a range of secondary schools in the Thanet area. This role will be full time to start ASAP until July 2026 and the daily rate will be between £88.94 - £100 depending on experience.

The role:

Working as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant with a student with SEN
Providing individualised support to help them access the curriculum and achieve the learning goals
Building trust and a strong supportive relationship with the student
Assisting with academic tasks and classroom activities
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environmentRequirements:

Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs or a relevant qualification is preferred but not essential
Understanding the different learning styles to support the student
Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills
Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police check (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years employment history where possible
