Job Opportunity: 5x Pipe Layers

Location: Bebington

Duration: 2 Months

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £23 Per hour

We are seeking 5x experienced Pipe Layers to start ASAP on a site in Wirral doing various pipe laying duties, deep drainage and man holes. Must have previous experience.

Responsibilities:

Excavating and preparing trenches to correct depth, alignment, and gradient for pipe installation

Laying pipes (including concrete, clay, plastic, and ductile iron) for water, sewer, stormwater, and utility systems

Installing deep drainage systems, ensuring correct levels, gradients, and backfilling procedures

Constructing and benching manholes, including brickwork, concrete works, and flow channeling

Connecting pipework to existing systems, ensuring leak-free seals and alignment

Reading and interpreting site drawings and levels to follow plans accurately

Using pipe lasers and leveling equipment to achieve precise installation

Ensuring trench support and shoring systems are correctly installed to meet health and safety standards

Operating small plant and tools (e.g., trench compactors, cutters, etc.)

Complying with all site health and safety procedures, including confined space and PPE requirements

Working closely with groundworkers and site engineers to ensure coordinated progress across site tasks

Requirements:

Driving License
Must have previous experience
Own Tools and PPE
Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
