IT Field Technician – Scarborough

Salary: £28,000
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Type: Full-time, permanent
Working Pattern: Office-based with field work, company van provided

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity to join a small, family-run business supporting customers with EPOS systems, tills and card payment solutions. This role has been created due to continued growth and offers full in-house training alongside long-term development.

The Role

You’ll support customers both remotely and on-site, ensuring EPOS and payment systems are installed, maintained and running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting EPOS systems, tills and card payment machines
Carrying out on-site installations, upgrades and fault resolution
Providing telephone and in-office technical support
Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
Travelling to customer sites using a company van
Working closely with a small, tight-knit team

You Must Have:

A full UK driving licence
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
A reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
Confidence working within a small team
Strong IT and technical aptitude
A genuine interest in IT and technologyDesirable:

Previous IT support, EPOS or customer-facing technical experience
Basic understanding of hardware and/or software
Sales FocusedFull training will be provided.
