Job Title: Employability Coach / Mentor

Location: York - Centre based

Salary: up to £26,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:

To work in partnership with Vocational Trainers, to support learners in developing high-quality work skills which will enhance their overall employability prospects. 
Assist learners through tracking their Employability journey; detailing their work experience, skills development and own beliefs surrounding their progress and growth. 
Encourage learners to recognise their achievements and value of their work experience, fostering a positive environment and experience.
Maintain accurate learner records.
The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help learners realise their potential.
Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety. Essential Criteria:

Experience of working within a similar role, within Employability/Skills.
Must have a passion and ability to motivate, coach and encourage individuals.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.Please note:
