✨ About the Role
10 hours per week, flexible schedule
Focus on building confidence, emotional wellbeing, and self-belief
Academic support in GCSE Maths and English, introduced gradually at the young person's pace
Sessions will begin at home, with the goal of transitioning into local community settings such as libraries or quiet cafés to promote confidence and social interaction
A mentoring style is essential - this is not a high-pressure academic role
? Requirements
Minimum 6 months' experience in a UK-based education setting
SEN experience desirable, but not essential
Calm, patient, trauma-informed approach
Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
Comfortable supporting a young person both academically and emotionally
Ideally a driver who is willing to transport the student to local public settings when appropriate
