The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to join our clients growing team. This is a leadership role where you will guide complex projects, mentor talented engineers, and collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative structural solutions.

What you’ll do

Lead the design and delivery of major structural engineering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, and healthcare.

Provide technical leadership, ensuring designs are safe, sustainable, and cost-effective.

Manage client relationships, contributing to business development and winning new work.

Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.

Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated, holistic design solutions.

What we’re looking for

Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with ICE or IStructE.

Significant experience in structural engineering design and project leadership.

Strong technical expertise in steel, concrete, timber, and emerging sustainable materials.

Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships.

Passion for sustainability and innovation in the built environment.
