Technical Coordinator - The Company:
Our client is a highly regarded and well resourced privately owned residential consturction company with an established reputation across the South West of England. Typical projects are mixed residential projects (open market and Social) consisting of unique and varied design of 3,4 and 5 bed houss. Typicall projects are between 70 and 500 units and a mix of traditional and timber framed build.
Technical Coordinator - The Role:
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical candidate (within residential) to join the team based iat Aztec West. Reporting to the Technical Manager you will assist in managing and ensuring the effective delivery of mixed tenure residential developments from a technical discipline. You will be an excellent communicator, comfortable leading meetings and presenting to clients, senior leadership and to all levels of the business.
The role will comprise of providing assistance to the Technical Manager in providing technical management and timely progression of mixed tenure residential projects through prestart stage to physical start on site and to provide support to the build stage accordingly.
You will be familiar with and be able to:

Process design information and maintain document control and issue
*
Co-ordinate and assist in management of the design team and specialist subcontractors
*
Process Manage design interfaces between packages.
*
Technically evaluate scheme proposals ensuring planning and building control matters are addressed
*
You’ll have experience in new build in both private sale and social housing markets build coupled with knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations, current standards and legislation.
*
With a high degree of skill in co-ordinating the distribution of information, you’ll be a proven team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision. CAD drawing capability would be desirable, however is not essential.
Technical Coordinator - The Person
* You will have solid experience with either a national or regional residential developer\
* You may have completed a Technical Apprenticeship or have already gained experience in Technical Coordinator
* Experience on 2-5 bedroom houses
* Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things
* A good communicator, able to liaise between different departments in order to achieve a common goal.
* Commuttible (daily) to Axtec West with site visits. Please note that the role does not offer any hybrid working or Working from home.
