Job Opportunity: Practice Manager / Consultant Social Worker ?

? Location: SASH West Dacorum & St Albans Team, Tenzing Road, Hemel Hempstead
? Hours: Full-time, Mon-Thurs 9:00 - 17:30, Fri 9:00 - 16:30 (37 hours/week)
? Pay Rate: £42.50 per hour
? DBS: Enhanced required

About the Role:

Lead and support a dedicated social work team in SASH West, managing complex cases and safeguarding children & families in your community. This role combines leadership, practice expertise, and hands-on social work with families.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Provide line management & supervision support
✅ Lead on familial & contextual safeguarding cases
✅ Manage and support children on Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans
✅ Extensive family court experience
✅ Oversee complex case management ensuring best outcomes for children and families

What We're Looking For:

?‍? Proven line management and supervision experience
? Strong background in familial and contextual safeguarding
⚖️ Skilled in working with CIN, CP cases and family court processes
? Ability to manage complex cases with confidence and empathy
? Able to work onsite at Tenzing Road, Hemel Hempstead
