We are a small but ambitious business specialising in the design and manufacture of complex electro-mechanical products, including motor assemblies, for a wide range of sectors. As a turnkey provider, we manage everything in-house—from concept through to delivery—and we’re looking for a Production Manager to play a key role in leading and shaping our manufacturing operations.

About the Role:This is a broad and varied role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for managing a small team of skilled electro-mechanical assembly technicians while overseeing all aspects of the production function, including:

Goods in and materials handling

Kitting and stores management

Quality control and inspection

Production planning and scheduling

Final product dispatch and customer delivery

Work closely with design and engineering to ensure a smooth handover from prototype/NPI to production.

Improve processes, productivity, and quality through lean practices and hands-on leadership.

Maintain high levels of housekeeping, safety, and compliance on the shop floor.

Support broader business needs where required—this is a team that rolls up its sleeves!

What We’re Looking For in The Production Manager:
Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly management role in a technical or electro-mechanical environment.

Strong people management skills and the ability to get the best out of a small, close-knit team.

Comfortable in a small business setting, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to get hands-on.

Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement.

HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline is desirable.

Why Join Us?
Be part of a growing and innovative company working on technically exciting products.

Take ownership of production and help shape how we do things moving forward.
