We are currently recruiting for a Schools Accounts Payable Finance Officer on a permanent basis.

Salary: £34,416 - £36,522

Your role will be to:

Deliver exceptional customer service to schools and internal staff regarding school payments and finance-related queries.
Calculating and updating monthly payments to schools
Completing financial reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies. 
Reviewing and following up on monthly and quarterly school finance returns.
Liaising with staff and schools to address queries.
Proactively seeking opportunities to improve processes The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Finance or accounting experience in a school or education provider environment or other public sector business
Accounts payable or finance payment experience
Expert MS Excel skills
Strong numeracy and attention to details skills
Experience with other finance systems. The client offers flexible working including 1 day per every other week in the office and other fantastic benefits including public sector pension.
