About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and driven BMS Project Manager to join our team in Leigh. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about smart building technology, automation, and delivering high-quality building management solutions across a variety of projects.

As a BMS Project Manager, you will lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and to budget. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end BMS projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client expectations

Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear direction and accountability

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Monitor compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and standards

Identify and mitigate project risks proactively

Oversee vendor selection, cost control, and procurement processes

Ensure seamless integration of BMS, IoT, and automation technologies

Produce detailed project documentation, progress reports, and handover materials

Stay up to date with sustainability practices and evolving industry technologies

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in project management or project engineering within building automation

Strong knowledge of BMS systems, IoT, smart buildings, and integration

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in project management principles, documentation, and reporting

Strong financial understanding: budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis

Creative troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple deadlines

Enthusiasm for technology and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Experience within construction or smart building environments (advantageous but not essential)
