We’re looking for a proactive, curious and people-focused Learning & Development Intern to join a highly specialised engineering and manufacturing business based in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity (6 months) to gain experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two departments work in quite the same way.

This role is all about discovery and development.

You’ll work across the business to understand what teams actually need when it comes to training and development - and help turn those insights into structured plans. From shop floor operations to technical teams, every area has different challenges, and you’ll play a key part in identifying gaps and helping shape solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

Working with team leads and managers to understand training needs

*

Mapping skills across departments and identifying key gaps

*

Supporting the creation of L&D strategies tailored to each area

*

Helping to develop and structure internal training materials

*

Capturing and organising training requirements in a clear, usable format

What we’re looking for:

A strong interest in Learning & Development or HR

*

Great communication and organisational skills

*

A naturally curious mindset - someone who enjoys asking questions and joining the dots

*

Confident using Microsoft Office and able to present ideas clearly

*

Some understanding of training and development principles would be a bonus, but not essential

The details:

Temporary paid internship (approx. 6 months)

*

Full-time, office-based role in Milton Keynes

*

Immediate start preferred
