Primary Teacher – Key Stage 1

Teach Now is delighted to be recruiting a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher for a thriving and inclusive primary school in the heart of Hackney, London. This is an excellent full-time, permanent opportunity for a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is eager to make a lasting impact during a crucial stage of children’s learning and development.

The Role
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Use assessment effectively to support progress and attainment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Demonstrates strong classroom practice and behaviour management
• Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Competitive salary: £37,868 – £56,154 (salaries aligned with teacher pay scales - M1–M6)
