Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School near Bury St Edmunds starting from February 23rd 2026. The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 2 Student 1:1.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location -near Bury St Edmunds
* Position - Teaching Assistant
* Contract or position start date - 23rd Feb 2026
* Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing booking until July
* Contract type - Long-Term
* Full time/part time - Part time to Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £60 per day
* Hours - 8:30am - 12.45pm Mon & Tues (gradually increasing to a full day)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous TA experience
Previous SEN/EHCP/SEMH experience
GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related referencesOTHER
