A civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a bridge construction project involving reinforced concrete (RC) structures in Coventry.

This role is suited to an engineer with strong on-site experience in RC works, particularly within bridge construction or major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for RC structures and bridge components

*

Overseeing subcontractor works and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications

*

Coordinating with the project team to manage site activities efficiently

*

Conducting quality checks, ITPs and ensuring as-built records are maintained

*

Supporting the site management team in health & safety and daily reporting

Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering RC structures on civil engineering projects

*

Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods and processes

*

Proficient in setting out and use of surveying instruments (e.g., Leica/Trimble)

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

*

CSCS card and relevant site certifications

Rate: £330 – £380 per day
