Our client is in Northampton, and is part of the Accounting, Tax Preparation, Bookkeeping, and Payroll Services Industry.

They are looking for a part-time experienced bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have practice experience.

* Processing of all sales and purchases

* Processing all bank and credit card transactions clients and matching them to sales and purchase entries where appropriate

* Bank reconciliations

* Reviewing sales and purchase ledgers to ensure the entries are complete and accurate

* Completion of VAT returns

* Liaising with clients to chase for any missing information

* Notifying clients of VAT liabilities and submission of the VAT return

* Providing holiday cover for weekly and monthly payrolls

The above will be performed for multiple clients and will involve a variety of software.

Monday to Friday 20 hours a week – flexible with the days and times
