Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Probation Services Officer to join the Probation Service in Crewe on an initial 3-month contract, with the strong possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of offenders, carrying out risk assessments and sentence planning.

Deliver one-to-one and group interventions aimed at reducing reoffending.

Liaise effectively with partner agencies, including police, courts, and social services.

Prepare and present reports to courts and parole boards when required.

Ensure accurate recording of all case management activity in line with national standards.

Requirements:

Experience working as a Probation Services Officer within the Probation Service.

Sound understanding of risk management and safeguarding procedures.

Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.

Enhanced DBS and/or prison clearance is desirable.

Contract Details:

£22.00 per hour (umbrella)

3-month contract, with strong potential for extension

Monday to Friday, full-time hours
