Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Billing Specialist for a major worldwide Freight Forwarder based in the Heathrow area.

JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY

We are seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing team. In this position, you will monitor respond in a timely manner to invoice queries as well as manage invoice processing as well as email requests from our case based ticketing service - Microsoft Dynamics. Previous accounting experience is required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company committed to providing quality, innovative value and logistics services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong communication, including writing, speaking and active listening

• Great customer service skills, including interpersonal conversation, patience and empathy

• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices

• Basic math and accounting skills

• Organization, time management and prioritization abilities

• Ability to be discreet and maintain the security of client information

• Effective computer skills to input to use account management software in a timely and efficient manner

• Excellent knowledge of excel, ideally with Intermediate experience level, able to use pivot tables and formulas.

• Experience within Accountancy and billing.
