An outstanding and well-respected two-form entry primary school in Cambridge is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their committed Key Stage 1 team from September 2025. The Role:

As a Year 1 Teacher, your key responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all Year 1 learners

*

Supporting pupils through the transition from EYFS to Key Stage 1

*

Creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment

*

Using assessment effectively to track progress and inform planning

*

Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers

*

Working closely with your year group partner to plan exciting learning opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

*

QTS and experience teaching in EYFS or Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1

*

A sound understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and the transition from EYFS

*

Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills

*

A warm, enthusiastic and reflective practitioner

*

A commitment to inclusive education and helping every child thrive
