Resident MEP Project Engineer
Location: Stansted Airport
Contract: Fixed-term (31/08/26) | Hours: 40 per week (minimum 3 days on site)
Rate: £50/hr (inside IR35)

Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Resident MEP Project Engineers to support the delivery of multiple fit-out and infrastructure projects from design through to on-site execution. The role offers the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, operational environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered to time, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Support project delivery from design stage through to site implementation.

Manage and coordinate contractor drawing submissions and SME reviews via document control systems such as Aconex.

Track and ensure timely close-out of design comments.

Lead design management activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

Review and respond to technical queries relating to contractor designs.

Collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to maintain momentum and quality.

Requirements:

HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or related discipline.

Proven experience in fit-out projects, ideally within aviation, transport, or similarly complex operational environments.

Strong understanding of design coordination and document control systems.

Ability to manage technical reviews and resolve design-related queries.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Willingness to be based on-site at Stansted Airport up to three days per week.
