Quality Coordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week with flexible start/finish times

Are you an experienced Quality Coordinator / Quality Inspector with a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail? A well-established manufacturer in Ripon is looking for a Quality Coordinator to help embed robust quality processes during a key growth phase.

With a tight-knit team of around 70 employees, this business supplies critical components to major UK construction projects. The environment is practical, down-to-earth, and ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and real responsibility.

What You’ll Do as the Quality Coordinator / Inspector

* Conduct daily dimensional and visual inspections on products.

* Upload quality data

* Ensure units meet technical drawings and specifications before sign-off.

* Create and maintain full document packs for traceability on every product.

* Collaborate with the factory floor team to uphold consistent standards.

* Report non-conformances and help maintain a proactive quality culture.

What You’ll Need:

* Proven experience in a Quality role within manufacturing or construction.

* Confidence in practical environments and working around heavy materials.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain detailed documentation.

* Comfortable using digital tools and cloud systems for data capture.

* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Desirable:

* Background in heavy engineering / Construction

* Knowledge of traceability systems and formal quality assurance processes.
