Assistant Field Service Technician

Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment on-site.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Collaborate with senior technicians to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
Adhere to health and safety regulations while on-site.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) in engineering or a related field.
Candidate who have worked in utilities or similar
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.Standard hours are 40 and these are generally worked 10 hours Monday - Thursday with an early finish on Friday however overtime is available. You are required to be part of a 1 in 6 week rota to work a backshift.
