A welcoming Primary School in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, and wants to support children in reaching their full potential during those crucial early years.

The Role:

Support children aged 0–5 years old within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Assist the class teacher with learning activities, assessments, and care routines

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff

Promote early learning through play, exploration, and creativity

Requirements:

A Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning (essential)

Ideally First Aid Qualified (training can be provided if not)

Experience supporting EYFS-aged children (0–5 years)

Able to provide two references from previous employers

Have an enhanced DBS Certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for one
